Across the Spider-Verse – Miles Morales Mask
Get into the character with this roleplay mask inspired by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The mask has light-up eyes and authentic sound effects for a complete superhero experience. Kids ages 5 and up will love re-enacting their favorite scenes from the movie or creating their own web-slinging adventures!
Miles Morales, like his iconic predecessor, is a hero whose struggles are as relevant to today’s world as they were fifty-nine years ago. But while the biracial Miles is inspired by Parker, his legacy is shaped by his own cultural identity. In fact, he is more than just a representation of modern teenage anxieties; he is an emblem of how the Spider-Man mythology can be recontextualized to make it more inclusive and accessible for new audiences.
Though he only recently became Spider-Man, Miles already possesses a deep understanding of the power and responsibility that comes with his new job. He has fought alongside his counterparts from other dimensions (Spider-Woman, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and Quentin Beck) and tussled with some of the most dangerous villains in the multiverse. He has thwarted the schemes of Omega Red, Kangaroo, Dr. Conrad Marcus (AKA Venom), and Norman Osborn’s son, Quentin Beck (AKA Mysterio).
He also faces some of his most personal heartbreaks including the death of his uncle Aaron and the discovery that his father’s killer was actually Spider-Man. Even so, Miles is determined to strike a balance between his hero life and his teenage personal life. He seeks support from his trusted confidant Ganke and other members of the Spider-Verse community. Miles Morales Mask
